Websites and marketingfor roofers.
A roof is a large, rare purchase, and homeowners compare three quotes before they choose. I design the site, build it, then run the search, email and ads that keep the enquiries coming.

How roofers win customers online, and what I would put in place to win more of them.
How customers choose
A new roof is one of the largest repairs a homeowner will ever pay for, and they know it. Most will get at least three quotes, read reviews carefully, and look for signs that the company will still be around if something goes wrong. Repairs are quicker decisions, often triggered by a leak or a storm, and they are where many long relationships start.
What the website has to do
A roofer's site should be built around proof. Project galleries organised by roof type and area, with before and after photos, show the work in a way no sentence can. A page on storm damage and insurance claims captures the surge of searches after bad weather. The inspection request form should be short, with an option to upload photos, because the customer is often standing in the garden looking up.
What keeps it busy
Because roofing decisions take weeks, the money is in following up. Every estimate should trigger a polite sequence of messages, with a reminder of what is included and a link to recent reviews. Local pages for each town, a well-kept Google profile, and review requests after every finished job do the rest of the work of making sure you are one of the three names they call.
Where it usually leaks
The places roofers most often lose a customer who was ready to buy.
- Storm damage searches spike overnight and a site without a storm page misses the wave.
- Calls missed while you are on a job go straight to the next company on the map. Most callers never leave a voicemail.
- Competitors with fewer years and worse work outrank you on Google Maps because their profile is better kept.
- Quotes go out and nobody follows up, so they quietly go cold.
Where I’d start
A Google Business Profile that wins the map pack, a page per service and per area, and an automatic text back to every missed call.
- A storm damage and insurance claim page
- Before and after project galleries by area
- A free inspection booking form
- Quote follow-up for every estimate sent

Services that fit
Questionsworth asking.
- How much does a website for roofers cost?
- It depends on the project, so there is no rate card. The number comes from how many pages and services the site covers, whether it needs booking, payments or integrations, and whether you want the marketing run after launch. After a 30-minute call you get a written scope and a quote, usually within two working days, and I will tell you honestly what your budget can do well.
- Do you work with roofers anywhere in the world?
- Yes. I work with anyone, anywhere, fully remotely. Calls are booked at a time that suits us both, and everything else runs in writing, so the distance rarely matters. I have delivered for clients in the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia and France.
- Do I need a website if I already get work from referrals?
- Referrals still look you up before they call. A referral who finds a slow site or no reviews often calls the next name instead, and you never hear that it happened. The site does not replace word of mouth; it stops you losing it.
- How do I show up for nearby towns, not just my own?
- A page for each area you genuinely serve, with real detail about the work you do there, plus a Google Business Profile with the service area set properly. One page listing twelve town names does not rank for any of them.
