Websites and marketingfor landscapers.
Landscaping is bought with the eyes, so the portfolio does the selling. I design the site, build it, then run the search, email and ads that keep the enquiries coming.

How landscapers win customers online, and what I would put in place to win more of them.
How customers choose
People hire landscapers with their eyes. They want to see gardens like the one they imagine, built by someone who clearly cares about the finish. The design and build projects are large and seasonal, while the maintenance work is smaller, steadier and often the more profitable side of the business over a full year.
What the website has to do
The site should lead with a fast, well-organised gallery: patios, planting, lawns, lighting, each with a short description of the brief and the result. Separate pages for design, construction and maintenance let each one rank and speak to a different customer. A maintenance enquiry form that asks for garden size and frequency makes quoting simpler, and turns casual browsers into regular contracts.
What keeps it busy
Landscaping marketing has a natural rhythm. Spring is when people plan, so an email to past customers in late winter and seasonal ads with strong photography fill the diary before it gets busy. Through the year, reviews with photos of finished gardens and a Google profile updated with recent work keep you visible in local searches when neighbours start asking who did the garden next door.
Where it usually leaks
The places landscapers most often lose a customer who was ready to buy.
- Maintenance contracts are where the steady money is, and the site only talks about one-off projects.
- Calls missed while you are on a job go straight to the next company on the map. Most callers never leave a voicemail.
- Competitors with fewer years and worse work outrank you on Google Maps because their profile is better kept.
- Quotes go out and nobody follows up, so they quietly go cold.
Where I’d start
A Google Business Profile that wins the map pack, a page per service and per area, and an automatic text back to every missed call.
- A fast project gallery organised by type
- Separate pages for design, build and maintenance
- A maintenance plan enquiry form
- Seasonal email to past clients each spring

Services that fit
Questionsworth asking.
- How much does a website for landscapers cost?
- It depends on the project, so there is no rate card. The number comes from how many pages and services the site covers, whether it needs booking, payments or integrations, and whether you want the marketing run after launch. After a 30-minute call you get a written scope and a quote, usually within two working days, and I will tell you honestly what your budget can do well.
- Do you work with landscapers anywhere in the world?
- Yes. I work with anyone, anywhere, fully remotely. Calls are booked at a time that suits us both, and everything else runs in writing, so the distance rarely matters. I have delivered for clients in the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia and France.
- Do I need a website if I already get work from referrals?
- Referrals still look you up before they call. A referral who finds a slow site or no reviews often calls the next name instead, and you never hear that it happened. The site does not replace word of mouth; it stops you losing it.
- How do I show up for nearby towns, not just my own?
- A page for each area you genuinely serve, with real detail about the work you do there, plus a Google Business Profile with the service area set properly. One page listing twelve town names does not rank for any of them.
