SEO, and being found by AI search
Technical fixes, a page per service, local search, and the structured data that lets answer engines quote you rather than skip you.
Most of the results I get come from structure rather than tricks. A site with one page covering six services is asking a search engine to rank it for six different things at once, and it will usually lose to six competitors who each wrote a page. Giving every service its own page, properly linked and marked up, is unglamorous and it is what moves.
The second half is newer. ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews now answer a lot of the questions people used to type into a search box, and they read a page differently. Many sites are assembled in the browser, so a crawler that does not run JavaScript sees an empty document. Others block GPTBot or ClaudeBot in robots.txt without realising. Both are invisible in the places that increasingly matter.
You can check your own site against all of this in about twenty seconds using the free audit on the homepage. It scores SEO, AEO and GEO separately, lists every issue, and gives you a report to download. No call required first.

Questions
- How long before SEO does anything?
- Technical fixes can show within weeks. Ranking for competitive terms takes months, and anyone promising otherwise is selling something. I would rather tell you which terms are realistic than take money for the ones that are not.
- What is AEO and GEO, and do they matter yet?
- Answer Engine Optimisation is being quotable by assistants; Generative Engine Optimisation is being readable by them at all. They matter now in the sense that the work is cheap and the downside of ignoring it compounds: a site that cannot be read today will not suddenly become readable when it matters.
