The content here is provided as it is, for information. I keep it accurate as far as I reasonably can, but I do not warrant that everything is complete or current, and nothing on this site is professional advice for your specific situation. Case study figures describe what happened for those clients and are not a promise of the same result for you.

Submitting the brief form or booking a call does not create a contract. A project begins when I send you a written scope with a fixed price and a date, you approve it, and the deposit is paid. Until all three have happened, either of us can walk away.

• Payment. Half the fixed price up front, half on launch. Invoices are due within 14 days.
• Scope. The written scope lists what is included. Work outside it is quoted separately before I do it.
• Revisions. Two rounds at the design stage and one after build, as set out in the FAQ and in your scope.
• Your input. Timelines assume you supply content, access, and feedback when asked. If those are delayed, the launch date moves by roughly the same amount.
• Cancellation. If you cancel mid-project, the deposit covers work already done and is not refundable. Anything completed and paid for is yours.
• Ongoing work. Monthly retainers can be cancelled by either of us with 30 days written notice.

On final payment, everything I produce for you becomes yours: source code, design files, and accounts created in your name. Until final payment, I retain ownership of the work.

Third-party components keep their own licences. Open-source libraries, fonts, stock photography, and platform subscriptions such as Shopify remain subject to their licensors’ terms, and any ongoing fees are yours.

Unless you ask me not to, I may show the finished work in my portfolio and describe what it achieved. If a project is confidential, tell me and I will leave it out.

You confirm that any content you give me, including text, images, logos, and data, is yours to use or properly licensed, and that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights. You are responsible for your own legal and regulatory compliance, including any privacy notices or accessibility obligations that apply to your business.

I do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, my total liability for any project is limited to the fees you have paid me for it, and I am not liable for lost profits, lost revenue, or lost data.

I am not responsible for outages, changes, or price rises at third-party platforms such as hosting providers, Shopify, Meta, or Cal.com, though I will help you work around them.

I may update these terms; the date at the top shows when. Changes apply to new enquiries and new projects, not retroactively to a scope you have already approved.
