Booking flows, client portals and intake forms built in React and TypeScript, for when a website has to do something a platform cannot.
There is a point where a business outgrows plugins. The booking widget almost does what you need, the form builder cannot branch, the workaround involves someone re-typing things into a spreadsheet every morning. That is the point this is for.
I have built a booking site with live availability and a two-step reservation flow, a patient intake portal with branching questions and clinician review, and product configurators that let a customer build the thing they are ordering. Each replaced something manual.
These are built as front ends in React and TypeScript, talking to whatever already runs your business rather than replacing it. The aim is that the new thing fits into how you already work, not that you reorganise around it.

Questions
- Do I need a web app, or will a plugin do?
- Usually a plugin will do, and I will say so. It is worth building something custom when the workaround has a person in it: someone re-keying orders, checking a calendar by hand, or copying form responses between two systems every day.
- What happens if I want to change it later?
- The code is yours and it is documented. You can bring me back, or hand it to another developer. Nothing is hosted on my accounts and there is no platform of mine you are tied to.
